Imperial Vipers - Broken 2009-DV8

After the critical success of their debut album ‘Searching: Falling: Silence’, the Imperial Vipers return with their new album, ‘Broken’, which is released via Eminence Records on 6th April. Recently hailed by Creation Records founder Alan McGee as ‘the best hard rock band since AC/DC,’ the Dunstable born five piece spent the summer of 2008 in the studio with legendary producer Steve Power (Blur, Feeder, Bon Jovi, The Charlatans, Robbie Williams) and emerged towards the end of the year with one of the most lyrically powerful, raw and ‘exciting rock albums the UK has seen in years’ (Steve Power). From the opening mover, “The Sickness” through title track ‘Broken’ and early fans’ favourite ‘Another Suicide’ the album takes you on an intense journey of a broken Britain through the eyes of lead songwriter and chief axeman Wevs. Already receiving outstanding reviews from the News of the World (4/5), Classic Rock magazine (8/10) ‘Broken’ looks set to catapult the Imperial Vipers to the very top of the UK’s rock scene
